Yay Christmas!! I love a lot of Christmas songs. But some of my favorites are "Baby, It's Cold Outside," "Ding Dong Merrily On High," "He is Born the Holy Child" (mostly because the tune is so fun and upbeat!), "Silver Bells," and there's a song that I've listened to ever since I was a kid called "Christmas is Here Again" by Roger Whittaker and I really love that one too. I can't wait for your Christmas album!!!
ReplyDeleteOoooh! I vote for Good King Wenceslaus!
ReplyDeleteMy all time favorite is Mistletoe and Holly, but I'd also vote for Christmas Island, A Marshmallow World and Baby It's Cold Outside :-)
ReplyDeleteOh! And Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas :)
ReplyDeleteGenerally all the songs have their own importance that is why we should choose according to our taste so that we can enjoy them. By saying top songs they can not became favourite of all the people because every people's choice is different.
ReplyDeleteOne of my absolute favorites is "The Man With the Bag." I think it's really underrated because it doesn't get recorded very much. But I love it!
ReplyDeleteOther favorites:
-I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day
-Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
-Have a Holly Jolly Christmas
-Hark the Herald Angels Sing
-It Came Upon a Midnight Clear
-What Child is This
There's also an obscure song called "Round and Round the Christmas Tree." I think Bing Crosby is the only one who ever recorded it, but it's another favorite. It has a great line: "Round and round the Christmas tree / Opening presents with the family / One for you and two for me / Oh what a Christmas day!"
