So we all know that decorating is tons of fun - lights, wreaths, ribbons - and once they're up, they're tons of fun to enjoy but...
That post-holiday chore - taking them down - is so unfun! I cope with it by leaving them up until March; by then I'm just tired of having to maneuver around a Christmas tree. But do any of you have a tradition or tip that makes un-decorating fun too? Do tell!
P.S. Feel free to follow me! I promise only ever to lead you to bright, sunny places!
Oh, I hear you! I took my decorations down over the weekend and was so sad to say goodbye to all the sparkles!
ReplyDeleteWe took ours down at the weekend, I wish I could say I was sorry to see them go, but really, it was a pleasure!
ReplyDeleteOurs are all down already, I just take a big breath and get to it. No special fun tips here unfortunately. LOL
ReplyDeleteI usually take everything down on New Year's Day. I just take a deep breath and get it done as quickly as possible to get that dratted chore done.
ReplyDeleteYes, I hate the taking down of decorations too, it seems so unfestive!! But happy new year none the less :)
ReplyDeleteWith you Emma... that's what my Saturday morning is going to consist of. Soooo not fun! ;(
