Honey For Me...

 Prelude in A by iamemma

So, one of the songs in my upcoming EP release (out any day now...!), is composed as a counter-melody to a Chopin piece.  (What? That girl is a genius! Aww, thanks).  I actually played it in last week's Rose-Colored Radio Show.

I thought I'd post up the actual piece that I play as the background in the song.

Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was deeelightful!

Alice...(drumroll, please)

I'm releasing an Alice in Wonderland-inspired EP this month (since Alice in Wonderland is such an under-utilized theme in music/film/art. Ahem) with five original songs!

There are just so many fun parts to the Alice story from the White Rabbit to the tea to croquet (which I actually never wrote a song about) so it was easy to find inspiration.

Although the visuals will probably be closer to John Tenniel's classic illustrations, I love this depiction by one of my favorite illustrators, Jessie Willcox Smith.
