You've Got A Friend In Me

We watched
Toy Story 3 this weekend and I loved it! It was funny, clever, more suspenseful than pretty much any film I've seen recently, and completely sweet. It did that thing we always want sequels to do - allowed the beloved characters (and some new ones!) to grow and express themselves under a new story.

I also loved the opening short Day and Night - I found it amazing how integral the music and the sound was to the story. So brilliant!

Did any of you see it? What did you think?

P.S. Feel free to follow me! I promise only ever to lead you to bright, sunny places!
P.P.S. I have a brand, new original album out! If you download it and looooove it, please write a lovely review on the site from which you purchased it!

  6. I really want to watch it! I'll be in England in less than two weeks (meaning that the movie won't be in German = better!) and I heard that movie tickets are super cheap there, so I hope I'll get to watch it there :)

  7. We saw it last weekend and loved it - and the short too! Husband was dissappointed with the ending, with all the toys being handed off to a new person, he said it left them an opening to do a 4th one and he thought that would be cheesy. I didn't get that feeling though, that there would be a 4th....this one felt like it had closure. It definitely made me cry....but then most Pixar movies make me cry!

  13. Awww it was beautiful, it has everything you would expect from a good movie: intrigue, suspense, laughs, tears, twists, closure. The characters were adorable and the plot was fresh and inventive. My distrust of disney lead me to believe it would be just another stuffy, plotless sequel that seems to be standard with most children's movies today, but I am glad to see that Pixar made good use of the time between films(10 years!)to create a new movie featuring(most)of the loved characters from Toy Story 1 and 2.
