Ahoy There! A Shabby Apple Giveaway!
I am a lucky girl.
Shabby Apple, the purveyor of gorgeous vintage-style women's dresses (they even have adorable maternity dresses for those who may need it!), has again offered to give away one of their dresses to a lucky Emma's Music reader!
I thought the perfect dress for the summer was this little beauty, the Admiral, because who didn't either adore their sailor dress when they were a little girl or want a sailor dress when they were a little girl!*
Shabby Apple is an amazing shop because not only are their dresses beautifully designed and very high quality, when you purchase a dress from them, they donate to micro-loans around the world! So you can feel good about your latest style indulgence!
They have a spectacular sale going on until the end of July where you can get 20% off any dress with the coupon code - Summer20 . If you want to wait until August to buy that perfect little frock, use emmasmusic10off anytime from now until August 17 (weirdly enough, that's my childhood's best friend's birthday. Coincidence? Well... probably).
If you decide to buy a dress as well as enter the giveaway, please click the little button on the side of my blog - it's the very best way to get to their shop...
Now, to enter the giveaway? Easy-breezy.
Simply leave a comment.
Want extra entries (I know you do!)?

The giveaway will conclude on Monday, July 25 at 11:59 EST.
Good luck! I hope you win!
*If you were never a little girl, but instead lived the earlier part of your life as a little boy, don't let that stop you! Surely there is a wife/girlfriend/sister/coworker/barista you would make insanely happy with this little dress! And I assure you - she wants a sailor dress too.

Hmmm. Favorite summer memory... I have lots of good childhood memories but some of the most nostalgic involve trips to my grandparents house in Tennessee. We did lots of things in Tennessee but one of my all-time favorite things that I got to do up there was catch fireflies. My grandparents had this beautifully huge backyard and you could just run and run and catch fireflies. It was pretty magical!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite songs happens to fit perfectly in my Summer playlist. It's from the Lilo & Stitch soundtrack - He Mele No Lilo. It's so beautiful and summery!
ReplyDeleteThis dress is so, so adorable! The model reminds me of Clara Bow in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VSa1KIRhA0
ReplyDeleteFavorite summer memory ... probably camping with family and dog. I live in Idaho, and there are some beautiful camping spaces around! And my favorite summer song is definitely "Summer Breeze" by Seals and Crofts!
What a wonderful giveaway!! Thanks for hosting!

ReplyDeleteThere are three essential Summer songs for me: "Door Into Summer" by The Monkees, Life is a Highway by Tom Cochrane (NOT the remake!) and Slow Ride by Foghat. Although I think Slow Ride applies to any season, month, day or hour. LOL
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Summer memory: when I was a kid, we always went to Myrtle Beach for a weekend during the Summer and always stayed in the same motel. I could look out of the little tiny window in the bathroom and see the amusement park. I would stand on the tub to look out of this window to see the lights and hear the sounds. Makes me smile thinking of it. :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome!

ReplyDeleteClassic favorite summer memory is eating Dippin Dots ice cream with friends at our local waterpark during the summer after 7th grade. :)
ReplyDeleteA few favorite summer songs: Cruel Summer, Boys of Summer (Don Henley AND the DJ Sammy versions), and California Dreamin (even though they are supposedly singing it in the winter, nothing about it feels winterish to me). :)
ReplyDeleteFavorite summer memory? Hmmm probably just being in my friends' Star Trek playm baking pies, and hanging out with friends every day, drinking free beer and frolicking in the sunshine.
ReplyDeleteSummer soundtrack...let's see. Maybe Summertime Blues by Eddie Cochran, but I also love lots of 80s dancey music in summer like Hall and Oates. :)
