I, Emma Wallace, have figured out a way to get things-I-have-to-do-but-don't-want-to-do done: clumping. Pick a morning where you have something fun planned for the afternoon. Then, do as many of the things-you-have-to-do-but-don't-want-to-do as you can. And then celebrate! If I drag things out, I never finish them all. Plus, once that 'get it done' feeling is gone, it's gone.
