Dreaming of Scotland...

From here
I finally got a chance to watch Brave on Sunday and it completely blew me away.  It was touching, funny, exciting and I can't wait to go back and watch it again.  Perfect.  Sigh.

Anyways, part of what I loved about the film was the breathtaking scenery.  I've never actually had Scotland on my short to-visit list (it's on the long one, don't worry!) but after watching this, it's shot right up to my list, bumping off Pierce Brosnan.  Wait, wrong list.  Well, you know what I mean.

Here are some photos that will have you dreaming in glens and lochs too.

  3. I loved Brave too!! It was soooo good! There seems to be a good handful of critics out there which I simply don't understand. It was perfect! Definitely one of my favorite Pixar films ever!!

  4. Happened on this website purely by accident and just wanted to say thankyou for promoting Scotland with all its beauty. The pictures you have shown are for real and the steam train [Harry Potter Films] still runs from Fort William to Mallaig for tourists. The castle on the rock is Dunnotar and not far from Aberdeen. Yes I am proud of my country and hope all of your followers will take time to visit.

  6. Thank you for your posts. I has in Scotland a year ago on May 19th, 2012. I was lucky to be able to visit for 10 days, but I can tell you, that is not enough time. The country-side, mountains, and cities all have breath taking views. I am definetly going back there again, sooner rather than later. It was my first trip out of my Country and I am so glad that I chose to go to Scotland first. I doubt anyone could ever be disapointed by going to that fascinating country. Kathy in Canada.
