I have had such an amazing opportunity to read other people's fascinating insights, lovely discoveries and gorgeous works of art these last couple months I've been blogging.

There are way too many blog posts that I've enjoyed to pick out my favorites, but here is a small sampling of some of the most memorable posts I've read in the last couple months.

Flying Down To Hollywood's SallyTonks highlighted one of my favorite Fred and Ginger dances ever in this post! Totally a mood lifter.

Fashion Lovelies

I love fashion and Bug from In Bug's Drawers takes it to a new level. You won't believe these four looks are all based from the same dress!

I also adored this practically edible look from Some Girls Wander. And Maria from Lulu Letty always has impeccable style.

Fantasy Vacation

These posts, one by Anna from Much Love and another by Sam from Mateou en Pelouche have convinced me I absolutely must visit Luna Park.

Informative!

Maggi from Circle 7-2099 kindly summed up the lives of several Golden Era idols in this informative and entertaining post. And Blondie from Blonde Episodes does marvelous behind-the-scenes facts for many films but this holiday post was my favorite.

Inspirational

Little Monarch was my inspiration for this post in the first place. I loved, loved this artistic entry.

Your New Favorite Band...*

...is Pomplamoose. When I was doing La Vie en Rose last week as my blog song, I was looking for other versions of it on YouTube and ran across this delightful version. And then I saw their others - they are beyond entertaining. One of my favorites is My Favorite Things in 5/4 time (which, several years ago, another musician was trying to work out with me. True story. And I couldn't figure out how to do the lyrics that way but, there you go). Her version of Nature Boy is gorgeous as well.

Here is their Mrs. Robinson. Although they begin sparely, they begin to layer and it becomes such a lovely, melancholic masterpiece.
