The Ultimate Question...

Photo from here

Ah, Valentine's Day.

I know we all have different ways of celebrating it (or not celebrating it at all!) but if you were going to choose which traditional, clichéd Valentine gift your personal Mr. Knightley/Nick Charles/David Bowie/Johnny Depp would give you, would it be flowers or chocolates?

Or something different altogether?

Photo from here

For me, chocolates.

P.S. Feel free to follow me! I promise only ever to lead you to bright, sunny places!

  5. Honestly if a Mr. Knightley ( or a Mr. Keats) wrote me something that came deep from within the heart..that can touch me in the warmest way alive within the most coldest winter months.

  7. I'd really love a sewing machine! Not very romantic I know, but every time my birthday comes round there's always something more sensible that I actually need so I never actually get one :(

  11. Argh. This is one time where the girly me pitches war with the practical me. But we're daydreaming, right? So I'll take both. Huge bouquet of red, pink and white roses (eye candy) accompanied by an enormous box of chocolates (sweet tooth candy)! :)

  22. Chocolate! But not a box of assorted chocolates. Something like Dove or Ghiradelli or Kit Kats!! (I really love Kit Kats)

  23. Chocolates for sure! :) We made chocolate covered strawberries for V-day and also bought a little rose plant-- something that will live on for a while instead of just a week or so! I find traditional Valentine stuff to be sappy, but at the same time I really do think it's fun to celebrate!

  25. If we're going with cliched gifts I'd say flowers. I know they die and blah, blah, blah but I love getting flowers.
